The "Moon Series" (acrylic on glass): The series was created in 2014 when Castello was exploring art from his early childhood. His fascination  with magical tales of the moon and the shining memories of children inspired this series of fanciful  pieces.

"Journey to Fiddlers" was originally conceived by the Ancient Order of Hibernians in Staten Island, NY when a forgotten mass grave was discovered on what is currently the 18th hole of a local golf course. It was the resting place of scores of Irish and German immigrants who died either en route to America or who had passed in the quarantine hospitals. Hundreds of unknown Irish men women and children were carted up a hill to this grave in the dead of night and forgotten. This painting was created by William Castello (acrylic on canvas) in 2014 to commemorate the lives and deaths of these people. He retains the painting in his personal collection.
